Founded in 2019 in Singapore, Chloropy began as a deep tech company dedicated to transforming agriculture through AI and drone technology. After three years of relentless effort, we pivoted from our initial vision to address a pressing need in the industry: empowering agribusinesses. Today, operating from India, we aim to partner with developers and product owners, enhancing their market access and helping them thrive in a competitive landscape. By connecting agribusinesses with innovative solutions in software, hardware, seed technology, and chemistry, we drive efficiency and productivity. Gajendra Babu, Founder
Gajendra Babu has M.Sc. and Ph.D. in agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (India), with a specialization in entomology. Worked for 16 years in the agrochemical and seed industry. His expertise ranges across biotech product development, insect resistance management, registration, regulatory affairs, and scientific outreach. In his last job, he worked for Syngenta in Singapore. There he managed research projects for registering biotech Bt corn in India, China and ASEAN. In mid-2019, he got into the start-up world with a passion to solve real problems in agriculture. He joined the accelerator programs at Entrepreneur First (EF) (www.joinef.com) and Antler (www.antler.co) in Singapore, where he met his co-founder to launch an agri-tech startup Chloropy (www.chloropy.com), a portfolio company of Antler.​
